Private conservancy camps on the edge of the Mara — night drives, walking safaris …
We base groups in the private conservancies bordering the reserve. Vehicle numbers are capped, off-road driving is permitted and night drives and guided walks are allowed — none of which is true inside the national reserve itself. In migration season we still cross into the reserve for the river crossings, but guests sleep somewhere considerably quieter.
Day by day
Day 1
Nairobi to the Mara
Morning flight or scenic drive to the conservancy, lunch at camp and an afternoon game drive.
Day 2
Full day in the Mara
Dawn drive with breakfast in the bush, an afternoon in the reserve, and a night drive after dinner.
Day 3
Walking & culture
Guided walking safari with Maasai trackers, afternoon village visit and sundowners on an escarpment.
Day 4
Return to Nairobi
Final morning drive, brunch, and the flight back to Nairobi.
