The destination

Why Madagascar

Madagascar broke away from the African mainland long enough ago that most of what lives there evolved alone. For an incentive group that has already done the Mara and the Serengeti, it is the answer to 'what next'. The Avenue of the Baobabs at sunset, lemur walks in Andasibe, the limestone tsingy formations and the beaches of Nosy Be give a programme range that is hard to match — and the French colonial culinary heritage makes the dining unexpectedly strong. Logistics need more lead time here than elsewhere in our portfolio, so we ask for a longer planning runway on Madagascar programmes.
