Are you dreaming of an unforgettable safari in the heart of Africa, Uganda is the ultimate
destination to add to your bucket list. Uganda also known as the “Pearl of Africa,” is home to
lush rainforests, sprawling savannahs, and, of course, the magnificent mountain gorillas.
For first-time travelers, planning a safari can feel overwhelming – but with MICE Uganda, you’re
in good hands. Our expertise in Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) tourism
allows us to tailor each safari experience, ensuring that every traveler enjoys an extraordinary
journey. Here are our top tips for planning your perfect safari to Uganda.

Decide on Your Safari Highlights

Uganda is rich in wildlife and natural beauty, with each national park offering something special.
When booking with MICE Uganda, we work with you to design a planned journey based on your
interests:
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: For gorilla trekking – a must-do for any first-time visitor.
Queen Elizabeth National Park: Known for tree-climbing lions and scenic boat safaris on the
Kazinga Channel.
Murchison Falls National Park: A classic safari experience with dramatic waterfalls and diverse
wildlife.
Kibale Forest National Park: Home to the world’s highest concentration of primates, including
chimpanzees.
Let MICE Uganda know your top wildlife and scenic preferences, and we’ll create a customized
planned Journey that covers the best parks and activities suited to you.

Choose the Right Season for Your Safari Adventure
The weather in Uganda is generally pleasant year-round, but specific seasons offer unique
advantages for safaris. From June to September and December to February are ideal for game
viewing and gorilla trekking. And since they are dry seasons wildlife tends to gather around
water sources, and trails are more accessible. From March to May and October to November
we come to explore the beautiful green landscapes, which make for fantastic photography,
though it can be a bit more challenging for trekking.
MICE Uganda encourages you to book your safari in advance if you plan to visit during the peak
season, as permits for gorilla trekking and accommodations fill up quickly.
